Fathers Day Treat Boxes

Ok so I'm really excited I just wanted to show my newest creation. I made these for the dads at church. As you can see I didn't need to make too many :). I am going to put in a plug for the silhouette SD. I love it. I used the box bottom and box top cutting files. It was so easy. I found clip art that was a silhouette of a hammer. I used the trace feature and that's how I got the hammer cut out in the middle of the box lid. The #1 dad tag was made using word art from scrapgirls "JDE_wnature" I used the print and cut feature after importing the image. I inked the edges of the lids and tags using cocoa ink from close to my heart.

#2 helped. She really enjoyed using the sponge dauber (another ctmh tool)to distress the edges of the lids. We taped them up to make the boxes and lids and filled them with candy. I hope the dads like them. We had fun making them. I'm really working on learning more about how to use my silhouette to it's fullest. I think I'm in love with the print and cut feature.
